In this high-profile role, you will be creating competitive advantage for DRÄXLMAIER in one of the most exciting areas Automotive Purchasing has to offer - e-Mobility. The newly created role of Global Business Planner Procurement E-Mobility is fundamental to shaping DRÄXLMAIER's continued above market growth into the future of mobility by advancing our strategic Procurement Initiatives. The Global Business Planner will be responsible for strategic project delivery, enhancing the management operating system, organizational stakeholder management, operational efficiency and select supplier engagement. In this role, you will drive specific initiatives related to planning, strategy development and execution of the plan to support the overarching business objectives and contribute to transforming the future of mobility. The role will require an understanding of procurement best-practices, experience in project managing change and continuous improvement. The role directly reports to the Vice President Purchasing E-Mobility and will be based in Vilsbiburg. We are looking for candidates that thrive in highly-paced, high-performing organizations and hence possess an entrepreneurial mindset, are highly efficient and independent. Successful candidates will also have a track record of developing solutions also in highly challenging environments and be able to successfully win support from organizational stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Manage key strategic Procurement projects Manage interface between Commodities and Projects to attain business performance per plan Lead implementation of continuous portfolio optimization across serial projects Support development of appropriate business plan objectives Responsible for managing metric attainment process Support leadership in cross-functionally coordinating implementation of Procurement projects Build positive and responsive relationships both externally and within functional network at DRÄXLMAIER Develop and maintain standardize d reporting
Requirements: Graduated top of your class with a Masters degree in business administration, Engineering or similar Several years of procurement experience in a high performance environment or strategy consulting ideally with experience in the automotive area Confident, productive leader with clear and empathetic opinions Demonstrated ability to think innovatively and creatively to resolve challenges Proven ability to achieve results also in challenging environments You are passionate about your work and have a can-do attitude High affinity for numbers and highly analytical Communicative character who knows how to eloquently excite others for his ideas at various leadership levels Fluent in German and English
